Abstract
Flux movement generated by pulsed magnetic held has been observed usin g search coils coaxially seton the surface of a ring-shaped sample of quench-and-melt-grown YBa2Cu3O7-x. From the analysis of these signals, we have found that the flux does not obey the critical state model, a t least within the rising time of the pulsed field. This phenomenon is explained by the flux how intensely driven by the Lorentz force under the external pulsed field.
