Abstract
We propose a scheme of efficient phase conjugation wave generation wit h a semiconductor microcavity. We show experimental results for a GaAs single quantum well (SQW) in a planar AlGaAs microcavity at 13 K. A s ingle pump beam directed normally to the planar cavity produces counte rpropagating pump fields in the QW region. Using the quantum confined Stark effect, are tune the exciton resonance energy around the fixed c avity resonance. Large enhancement of the signal occurs when the excit on resonance coincides with the cavity resonance.
