um-well (MQW) modulator has been fabricated to experimentally demonstr
ate two applications for optical fiber transmission systems: pulse gen
eration with adjustable duty cycle for optical time division multiplex
ing and harmonic generation up to 40 GHz for millimeter radiowave tran
sport on optical fiber.
