Abstract
Two new patchoulane sesquiterpenoids together with patchouli alcohol, patrinoside and kanokoside A, have been isolated from the rhizomes and roots of Valeriana fauriei purchased on a market in China. The struct ures of these new compounds were determined by various spectroscopic m ethods in this paper.
