STUDY OF CHARGE-TRANSPORT IN POLY[3-(CARBAZOLYL-9-YL)PROPYL]METHYLSILOXANES

This paper discusses mobility-temperature-field data obtained from a s eries of siloxane polymers with pendant carbazole groups, The data are analysed within the frameworks proposed by both Gill and Bassler. Two of the polymers return parameters very similar to those previously re ported for polyvinylcarbazole and provide evidence for the role of eit her impurity-related traps or polaron formation, while the third produ ces significantly different parameters tentatively assigned to the inf luence of impurities.
