Two carboxamide linked dimers were synthesized by condensation of the
appropiate alpha nucleosides with alpha thymidine-5'-carboxylic acid a
nd incorporated in oligodeoxynucleotides. The oligodeoxynucleotides we
re investigated for hybridization to single and double stranded DNA.
