Abstract
A method for determining the specific surface, aggregative ability, an d packing density of powders by measuring the gas permeability of a co mpacted layer has been developed. A formula has been derived and a pro cedure proposed that make it possible to determine the specific surfac e, packing density, and aggregative ability of a number of powders. A new PSKh-8 apparatus has been designed for determining the specific po wder surface.
