Jz. Zhu et al., ELECTROCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS BORON-DOPED POLYCRYSTALLINE DIAMOND FILM ELECTRODES, Fresenius' journal of analytical chemistry, 352(3-4), 1995, pp. 389-392
The electrochemical characteristics of boron-doped polycrystalline dia
mond thin film electrodes with 4 x 4 mm(2) in size have been studied u
sing cyclic voltammetry and a potentiostatic method. The diamond elect
rode exhibits adequate electrochemical activity and the response curre
nt changes linearly with the K3Fe(CN)(6) concentrations. The response
current is proportional to the square root of the scan rate, reflectin
g the mass transport controlled by planar diffusion. Stable mass trans
port was quickly established within 4 s. Good stability and reproducib
ility are attractive properties of the diamond electrode for sensor ap
plications.
