The determination of trimethoprim in the presence of dyphylline, proxy
phylline, theophylline and caffeine by the linear absorbances method i
s described. Collinear couples of wavelengths, for the interfering dyp
hylline-proxyphylline-theophylline-caffeine system (in H2SO4, 0.05 mol
/L), are provided in order to allow the determination of the analyte i
n the presence of these interfering substances.
