Abstract
The limiting molar conductivity Lambda(0) and the Jones-Dole viscosity coefficients A and B were measured for Ph(4)PBPh(4), Bu(4)NBPh(4), Bu (4)NClO(4), Ph(4)PBr, Bu(4)NBr, NaBPh(4), NaClO4, KClO4, LiClO4 and Ag ClO4 in pure DMF and DMSO at 20, 30 and 40 degrees C. The experimental coefficients A are compared with the coefficients A(eta) calculated f rom the Falkenhagen-Vernon equation. The ionic viscosity coefficients B, which were obtained using Ph(4)PBPh(4) as the reference electrolyte , are discussed in terms of the contributions in the expression: B-ion = B-w + B-solv + B-ord + B-disord + B-shape.
