Abstract
A phase encoded binary phase-only filter (BPOF) recorded on commercial ly available liquid crystal screen from Epson video projector is propo sed. Optical results of recognition are presented and compared with th e results obtained by using the BPOF with enhanced light efficiency re corded by silver halide sensitized gelatin (SHSG) technique.
