Abstract
The formation and the stability of the mixed ligand complexes formed b etween EDTA and ethylenediamine or histidine, was studied potentiometr ically, in aqueous solution, at 25 degrees C. It has been found that t he species (EDTA)(en)H-j (j=2,3,4) and (EDTA)(his)H-3 are formed in th e two systems. These complexes are fairly stable and cannot be neglect ed when studying mixed ligand solutions.
