ight-sensitive polymeric coordination complex [Ag(MeTe(CH2)(3)TeMe)(2)
](n)[BF4](n). This compound crystallized in the monoclinic space group
P2(1)/n with 8.755(3) Angstrom, b = 20.441(8) Angstrom, c = 12.227(3)
Angstrom, beta = 103.13(3)degrees, V = 2130.9(12) Angstrom(3), Z = 4,
F(000) = 1504. Final R = 0.057 and R(w) = 0.062 resulted from refinem
ent of 2776 total reflections with 154 parameters. Reaction of (Te(p-C
6H4F))2 and AgBF4 in acetonitrile at ambient temperature generated red
, light-sensitive CH3)(4)(mu(2)-(p-C6H4F)TeTe(p-C6H4F))(2)][F-4](2), a
homodiorganyl ditelluride doubly-bridged complex. Crystal data: tricl
inic space group P (1) over bar, a = 6.835(2) Angstrom, b = 13.255(2)
Angstrom, c = 13.824(4) Angstrom, alpha = 116;48(3)degrees, beta = 95.

ement of 3807 reflections and 254 parameters gave R = 0.027 and R(w) =
0.028. Treatment of (MeTe)(2) with CuCl in CH3CN at ambient temperatu
re yielded polymeric [(mu(2)-MeTeTeMe)Cu(mu-Cl)](n). Crystal data: mon
oclinic space group P2(1)/ c, a = 9.923(2) Angstrom, b = 8.091(2) Angs
trom, c = 10.232(3) Angstrom, beta = 116.01(2)degrees, V = 738,3(3) An
gstrom(3), Z = 2, F(000)= 668. Refinement of 949 reflections and 56 pa
rameters gave R = 0.027 and R(w) = 0.025.
