Abstract
A supernova explosion, which preceeded the formation of the solar syst em, may have acted like a gigantic gaseous diffusion plant or a centri fuge to produce the large isotopic anomalies recently observed for oxy gen and neon in the mineral inclusions of primitive meteorites.
