Abstract
33 older adults (mean age = 72.3 yr.) rated themselves and a deceased sibling on the Multidimensional Sense of Humor Scale. A significant me an difference between the two groups on the subscale of Humor apprecia tion suggested the possibility of a positive relationship between humo r appreciation and longevity.
