Abstract
Experimentally observed characteristics of the combustion of water-fue l foams are analyzed. A correlation is observed between the combustion properties of the foam and the interphase hear-transfer effects which accompany the combustion process. A simplified mathematical model is proposed which can describe all the observed characteristics of foam c ombustion.
