Abstract
A controlled potential coulometer has been constructed according to sp ecific requirements which are relevant for high precision analytical w ork. The working of the instrument electronics is described together w ith its electrical calibration. Emphasis has been put on the delivery and measurement of a low current at the end of the electrolysis. A rel iable scheme for an accurate calibration of the coulometer has been wo rked out.
