ON SERIES EXPANSIONS FOR MEROMORPHIC FUNCTIONS

Series expansions for meromorphic functions obtained in the author's e arlier paper (Complex Variables Theory Appl. 25 (1994), 159-171) are d erived in a different way-namely, from Cauchy's theorem on partial fra ction expansions-in the present paper. In addition to that, a certain result of Cauchy's theorem just mentioned is specified in this paper ( which allowed us to somewhat reformulate the theorem). Also, expansion s of analytic functions on disks containing poles of the functions are studied, and examples of such expansions are given. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
