Abstract
Chiral tripod-ligands of the type 5 are easily accessible in four step s starting from the dibromide 1. The cleavage of the oxetane 4b by LiP Ph(2) yielding the tripod-ligand 5 can be modified enantioselectively by the addition of (-)-sparteine.
