Abstract
In a survey of the karyology of Nonea, which completes an examination of Spanish Boragineae, the chromosome number for N. echioides (L.) Roe mer and Shultes is reported for the first time. Relationships between the genera that are included in the tribe Boragineae are discussed, co nsidering chromosomal and morphological characters and the habit of th e plants.
