Abstract
We discuss some basic ideas from the Dempster-Shafer theory of evidenc e. We describe the concept of fuzzy systems modeling used in fuzzy log ic control, We use the Dempster-Shafer framework to provide a machiner y for including randomness in the fuzzy systems modeling process. We s how how to represent additive noise in this combined framework.
