Abstract
In this paper, the authors propose a new strategy for the command of t he three-phase voltage inverter's switches. After a recall of the prin ciple on which the Delta-Sigma modulation single-phase converter works , they emphasize the avantages it provides and they show how this stra tegy can be extended to the three-phase voltage inverter by a vectoria l approach. Compared to usual modulations and space vector modulation techniques that are now frequently to be found, for identical average switching frequency, this process improves the quality of the output v oltages applied to the load. The numerical simulation results are pres ented.
