Abstract
The effects of a partial isotropic dielectric overlay on the isolation , coupling, and impedance of a microstrip 10-dB coupler are studied. R esults as functions of the overlay's width, height, and dielectric con stant are presented. It is found that a better coupler design can be a chieved through proper choice of these three parameters. (C) 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
