True new stable dinuclear Pd(I) complexes, [Pd-2(mu-PBu(t)2),(PPh(3))(
3)]X and [Pd-2(mu-PBu(2)(t))(PPh(3))(2)(mu,eta(2): eta(2)-CS2)]X(X = B
F4, CF3SO3), have been synthesized and characterized. The former has o
ne 14e Pd center, and the latter, which has been characterized by X-ra
y diffraction, contains a CS2 molecule with a four-coordinate planar C
S2 carbon.
