Abstract
A novel chiral tridentate phosphine Ligand based on ferrocene (5) can be readily obtained fi om cyclohexylphosphine and -1-[(R)-2-(diphenylp hosphino)ferrocenyl]ethylamine (4) in acetic acid. Ligand 5 adopts a m eridional coordination geometry with d(8)-metal centers. The crystal s tructure of [Pd(S)CL]PF6 (6) has been determined.
