Abstract
We report a case of haemoptysis in a long-standing silicotic in whom a rteriography revealed saccular aneurysms of the bronchial arteries. Em bolisation was satisfactory in excluding the aneurysms and leading to a favourable outcome. The mechanism of the formation of these aneurysm s which is extremely rare was discussed with reference to the Sew repo rts and literature.
