Abstract
The release of Ketoprofen from the matrix model of TTS were studied. I t may be concluded that the pharmaceutical availability of the drug ca n be regulated by the type and thickness of the matrix. Quantitation o f the active agent in the dissolution medium was done by UV-spectrosco py. The results obtained by the rotating cylinder method were compared to another method utilizing a modified Stricker cell.
