ENDODONTIC FAILURE - A PROBLEM FROM TOP-TO-BOTTOM

Endodontically treated teeth are susceptible to bacterial contaminatio n through exposure to oral fluids. It is crucial, therefore, that rest orations placed during and after root canal therapy protect the root c anal from oral contamination. This paper highlights the clinical steps necessary to reduce the risk of contamination in root-filled teeth.
