Abstract
Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) technique using chromosome s pecific probes has revolutionized the field of radiation cytogenetics in the last few years. Some of the new insights on the origins of radi ation induced chromosome aberrations in human, mouse and Chinese hamst er, using FISH are reviewed in this paper.
