Abstract
We describe the cytogenetic study of a neuroendocrine tumor of Merkel cells which appeared in a patient following a heart transplant. An abn ormal karyotype was observed in a metastatic lymph node, The abnormali ty includes two markers derived from the long arm of chromosome 1, whi le maintaining two normal chromosomes 1.
