Abstract
A simple, spectrophotometric method for the determination of indapamid e using ammonium molybdate in dosage forms is described. Indapamide fo rms blue coloured complex in acidic medium with molybdate having maxim um absorbance at 710 nm. The molar absorptivity is 6.1 x 10(3) l mol(- 1) cm(-1). Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 2.5 - 30 mu g/ml of in dapamide.
