Abstract
An HPLC method for the simultaneous determination of beclomethasone di propionate and its principal degradation products has been developed. The only sample treatment necessary for the analysis is its dilution w ith methanol. The practical detection limit is 0.02 % of each impuriti es in terms of the parent drug, whereas the absolute limit of detectio n is 2.5 ng of each injected compound. The method has been applied to the analysis of both pharmaceutical formulations and samples of bulk d rug.
