Abstract
Changes are occurring in our approach to the management of patients wi th pneumonia due to changes in our understanding of the pathogenesis o f pneumonia, changes in the causative pathogens, and changes in the in vestigative techniques and therapies available. This article reviews t he management of patients with pneumonia, highlighting some of these a reas.
