Bj. Cardinal et Ml. Sachs, PROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF STAGE-OF-EXERCISE MOVEMENT FOLLOWING MAIL-DELIVERED, SELF-INSTRUCTIONAL EXERCISE PACKETS, American journal of health promotion, 9(6), 1995, pp. 430-432
One hundred thirteen women were accepted and 81 completed this study,
which stratified the women by their baseline stage of exercise. The wo
men were then randomly assigned to one of three self-instructional fit
ness programs. Overall, 43.2% improved, 42% maintained, and 14.8% regr
essed their stage of exercise. Sample sizes were too small to detect a
ny statistically significant difference in the improvements between th
e groups.
