Abstract
Single crystals of ZnGa2O4 spinel were synthesized by flux growth and subsequently tempered at different temperatures between 600 degrees C and 1200 degrees C (Delta T 100 degrees C). They were studied by X-ray powder diffraction and single crystal structure analysis. The a(o) va lues increase linearily with the equilibration temperature while the o xygen parameters tend to decrease.
