The level structure of Na-20 above the proton threshold has been inves
tigated in the past by charge exchange reactions and by the resonant s
cattering of a radioactive Ne-19 beam on a hydrogen target. A discrepa
ncy was found between the two sets of experiments for the excitation e
nergy of the state at approximate to 3050 keV, which led to discussion
s about systematic deviations in the results of the different methods.
We have reanalyaed the data of one of the (He-3,t) experiments and fi
nd an agreement with the results of the scattering experiment.
