Abstract
Reaction of zinc-copper coupling reagents with tricarbonyl(eta 6-cyclo heptatrienyl)manganese hexafluorophosphate provides (6-exo-substituted -eta 5-cycloheptadienyl)manganese complexes in 48-78% yield. Attempts to alkylate tricarbonyl(eta 6-benzene)manganese cations under similar reactions conditions failed.
