Pm. Nedorezova et al., STUDY OF CATALYSTS FOR PROPYLENE POLYMERIZATION IMMOBILIZED ON THE SURFACE OF HIGHLY DISPERSED BORON-NITRIDE, Kinetics and catalysis, 36(3), 1995, pp. 412-418
The catalytic system (C2H5)(2)AlCl-TiCl4 for propylene polymerization
supported on the surface of highly dispersed boron nitride is studied.
The purpose of this work was to study the effect of the catalyst prep
aration conditions on the propylene polymerization kinetics, the valen
t state of titanium, EPR spectra, and X-ray diffraction patterns of th
e catalyst. The results are compared with the corresponding data for t
he catalyst anchored onto graphite. Structural rearrangements in the s
upports under the action of the components of the catalytic system ref
lect the interactions that take place on the surface and that depend o
n the conditions of the catalyst preparation.
