Abstract
We present a method to find the gluon distribution from the structure function F-2 of the proton in the regime of low x. The leading order ( LO) GLAP evolution equations are used to relate dF(2)/d In Q(2) with g luon distribution G(x). The gluon distribution obtained by our method using F-2 data from HERA is found to be in agreement with exact theore tical predictions.
