Abstract
The paper describes the procedure and results of an experimental inves tigation of a predicted [1, 2] phenomenon of steady-state coexistence of the monodisperse phase of condensate with supersaturated vapor in t he field of electromagnetic (laser) radiation. A detailed description is provided of the experimental setup and of the various methods used to measure the particle size. The data, obtained for a mixture consist ing of supersaturated water vapor, droplets, and inert gas in the fiel d of CO2 laser radiation, are in adequate agreement with the theory.
