The problem on flotation in the atmosphere of a group of large-scale s
urface thermals is solved numerically with the aid of the complete sys
tem of Navier-Stokes equations for compressible heat-conducting gas. T
he discretization of the input system is done according to an explicit
four-step difference scheme of splitting with respect to physical pro
cesses. Thermodynamic processes are studied, as well as the processes
of vortex formation, combination of groups of individual vortexes in a
monovortex, and transformation of circulation flows into a jet flow.
