Abstract
We report 4 patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) complain ing of thoracic radicular symptoms. We postulate that in some patients paraspinal muscle weakness can result in an increased thoracic kyphos is, possibly producing traction on the thoracic roots.
