Abstract
This paper reports the clinical use of the sec ond dorsal metacarpal a
rtery island flap in a series of 12 cases and discusses the results. I
n two cases, a double flap based on the second dorsal metacarpal arter
y from the dorsal skin of the second and third fingers without using t
he second web was raised as a modification of the dorsal flap.
