Influence of various parameters characterizing charge-density waves (C
DWs), such as a sign and an amplitude of higher-order harmonics, a pha
se shift between CDWs and the lattice as well as CDW periodicities on
shapes of Sn-119 Mossbauer spectra and related distributions of the is
omer shift (charge-density) is studied by model calculations. The resu
lts obtained show that these quantities are sensitive to the parameter
s, hence the Mossbauer spectroscopy using Sn-119 resonance is potentia
lly a suitable tool to study the issue.
