Ak. Alekseev et al., INDIRECT DETERMINATION OF HEAT-FLUX TO A LANDER HEAT PROTECTION SYSTEM, Journal of thermophysics and heat transfer, 9(3), 1995, pp. 494-498
A feasibility of the heat transfer history determination using the end
-point state of irreversible processes in a spacecraft heat protection
system is considered, The special inverse conduction problem in mater
ials of heat shield is discussed. The requirements are formulated for
the composition and accuracy of measurements within the heat protectio
n material, The parameterization of the heat flux is performed by mean
s of specified functions for laminar and turbulent flow, that allow on
e to reduce the number of parameters and improves the accuracy of the
approximation, The results of numerical experiments corroborate a feas
ibility of the heat flux reconstruction if additional a priori informa
tion regarding trajectory parameters is present.
