Abstract
The reaction between calcium tungstate and magnesium has been studied experimentally. Temperatures and rates of combustion of the CaWO4-Mg s ystem are determined. It is proved by x-ray phase analysis that, after leaching acid-soluble compounds, alpha-W is the final reaction produc t.
