Abstract
DIGITAL microwave radios have traditionally resided in the 18- and 23- GHZ bands. Such radios are invaluable as a means of transmitting video signals and data over line-of-sight distances. Recently, tremendous i nterest has grown in the 38-GHz band for data transmissions and enhanc ement of cellular and emerging personal-communications-services (PCS) systems.
