A five-month-old male Cavalier King Charles puppy was presented with l
oss of appetite, vomiting, black faeces and abdominal tenderness. Late
r, there were abnormalities in the proprioceptive reflexes. At necrops
y, both ureters were blocked by urinary calculi and the kidneys were h
ydronephrotic. The calculi were examined by x-ray micro-probe analysis
but the chemical composition was not identified.
