Abstract
Conducting cylinders are reconstructed fram the multistatic, multifreq uency, and multiincidence data of the scattered fields represented by the summation of their angular propagating modes. Physical optics appr oximation is assumed in the formulation of the reconstruction of the o bject shape function. Steps to obtain optimum data points are shown fo r numerical reconstruction examples of elliptic and rectangular conduc ting cylinders. (C) 1995 John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
