Abstract
In this brief, a new method for computing the matrix polynomial is pro posed. The comparison demonstrates that this is the most efficient tec hnique at the moment, Furthermore we argue that the approach is optima l in the framework of the discussed algorithms. The algorithm is recur sive and it can be viewed as resulting from a new number system.
